The shop, events and enrolling a child
What the app takes money for, what a place at an event really reserves, what enrolling holds before the money clears, and what a half-finished payment leaves behind.

Three things in the app take money: the school's shop, a place at an event, and enrolling a child. Home gathers the first two under “From the school”, as “All events” and then “Shop”, and all three finish on the same card screen. Each is bought for the child selected at the top, so check that first: nothing later asks you which child this is for.
The shop
You see only what the school chose to put in front of families, and only what it still has: an item that has run out leaves the list rather than showing as sold out, and “low stock” appears when three or fewer are left. The price is the school's, and there is no basket and no quantity box, so “Pay now” buys exactly one and two means going through twice.
A place at an event
The list is split in two, “Upcoming” and “Past”, and holds everything the school runs. A free event needs “Register” and nothing more: the place reads “confirmed” at once. A priced one registers first and asks for money second, so the place is held as “awaiting payment” with “Pay now” beside it, and held or paid it takes up one of the places while the school sees the unpaid ones as money owed. When they run out the button is dead and reads “Event is full”; there is no waiting list. “Cancel registration” hands the place to whoever wants it next and never hands money back: a place already paid for is refunded by the school or not at all. One kind of event is gated, too. A make-up class sits in this list like any other, but a place in it is refused unless the child has an unused absence to spend.
Enrolling a child
- Open “Enrol” from the home screen. “Your child” asks for a first name, a last name and a birthday; the two gender buttons are optional.
- Then “Choose a subscription”, and “Choose your days”, which appears only when the school runs more classes than the number of days you are buying. Pick exactly that many, and a class with no seats left cannot be picked at all.
- Then “How long would you like to register for?”, and “How would you like to pay?”: only the ways this school accepts are shown, and where it accepts none of them the step says “Contact the school to register” rather than walking you into a dead checkout.
- Then “Health declaration”, where the school asks for one: every question answered, a note beside every yes, and with them the emergency contact and the signature.
- Then “Almost there” and confirm. By card that opens the card screen next; any other way finishes at “Confirm registration”.
- “Credit or debit card”: nothing is held until the money clears. The child joins your family as soon as you confirm, but the place in the class is granted only when the payment settles. Where the school takes a deposit the card is charged that alone, “Total to pay”, and the rest of “Full cost” stays owed.
- “Pay at the first class”: the place is taken now, and the whole fee falls due on the first day of the term.
- “Cash at the school”: nothing is held and nothing starts until somebody at the school records the money.
