Signing in, and what your account shows

The number the school holds is your login, why a child can be missing from your family screen, where the school's messages arrive, and what sits on each child's page.

Written for parents

You never set a password here. Your account is the phone number the school has on file for you, and the children you can see are exactly the ones the school linked to that number. Most of what surprises parents here follows from those two facts.

Signing in

  1. On the school's sign-in page, or the app's first screen, pick your country, type your number and press Send code.
  2. A 6-digit code arrives on WhatsApp. If WhatsApp cannot carry it, because the school has no WhatsApp number or yours is not on WhatsApp, it comes as an ordinary text message.
  3. Type it and press Verify. It lasts 10 minutes, you get 5 tries, and a fresh code can be asked for once a minute.
  4. Mistyped the number? Use a different number starts over without waiting.
  5. Continue with Google also works, when the school holds that same address for you.

Your family screen

My Family opens on your children. With more than one child, cards lead the page under Your children, ordered by who needs you rather than by name: a child with no subscription yet or an ended one first, then anyone whose subscription runs out inside 7 days, each marked Needs attention. Choosing a card jumps to that child in full: the subscription, Pay fees, Freeze subscription, recent attendance and Skill progress. With one child there are no cards, and the detail is the whole page.

Messages from the school

Messages is the record of what the school has sent you: receipts, reminders, class news, invitations. It is a log, not an inbox. There is nothing to reply to, it keeps the last 50, and a message the school tried to send and could not never appears at all. Each line gives the kind of message, the child and the date, but never the words and never the button that was inside it, so to pay from a reminder you still need the original WhatsApp message or email. Opening the page clears every unread mark at once.

Each child's page

  1. In the app, open Account and tap the child. Their page holds Progress history, Medical certificates, Care & consents and Card on file, and it makes that child the one every screen behind it is about.
  2. For a doctor's certificate, set Issued on and Valid until first: they belong to the file you are about to choose, not to one already listed, and the expiry must fall after the issue date.
  3. Press Upload certificate and pick a PDF or a photo, up to 10 MB. It reads Expiring soon for its last 30 days, and the school sends one reminder in that window, about the newest certificate only. Nothing chases it once it reads Expired.
  4. Under Care & consents, an emergency contact is stored only once both Name and Phone are filled in and you press Save contact.
