Move a student to fewer days a week
Reduce a live subscription mid-term, what happens to the money the family already paid, and the two things the system will not do for you.
Written for school owners and admins
Fewer days a week is a mid-term change, not a new sale. The current subscription is replaced by a new one, and a credit carries forward against it: the value of the days they will no longer use, capped at what the family has actually paid so far.
Making the change
- Open the student and find their live subscription.
- Press “Change plan”.
- Choose the classes they are staying on, and drop the day they are leaving.
- Type the full-term price of the classes they are keeping into “Price for a full term of the new classes (₪)”. It opens holding the OLD price, and until you change it the system reads this as swapping a day rather than dropping one: the end-date choice below stays hidden, and the only button is “Save class changes”, which keeps the old price and moves no money.
- Pick “Keep the same end date” or “Start a new term today”. Neither appears until the price differs from the old one.
- Press “Show the price” and read the figures — nothing is written yet.
- If the quote asks the family to pay rather than giving money back, say how it is settled. It opens on “Paid now, at the desk”, which records the amount as already taken in cash — use “Not paid yet” to leave it owing, or “Send a payment link” to copy a payment link.
- Press “Apply change” and confirm.

What happens to the money
The figures are recomputed the moment you apply. If anything moved while you were reading — most often a payment or refund landing on the old subscription, or the days-left count dropping by one — the change is refused and nothing is written; the fresh figures appear in place, so read them again and apply.
