Renew a subscription before the term ends
How an ending subscription reaches the renewals list, which reminders go out without you, and why a renewal is a new subscription rather than an extension of the old one.

The renewals list holds every live subscription ending in the next 30 days, plus every one that lapsed in the last 30 without a replacement. The “Subscription runway” card and the two tiles above the student list are windows onto that same list, so nothing is urgent on one screen and calm on another. It reaches back 30 days and no further.
Before the end date, not after
What goes out without you
Once a day the family of every active ending subscription is messaged: once when 14 days are left, again when 3 are. The message names the child and the end date and links to the school's own site; it carries no price and no payment link, so no family renews itself from it. A term that has already lapsed gets no renewal reminder — but if money is still owed on it, a separate nightly job chases the family on its own, up to three times a week apart, and that message does name the amount and carry a live payment link. A term still waiting to be paid for from a sign-up that was never settled gets nothing automatic at all; it is desk work.
Selling the renewal
- Open the row and press “Renew subscription” — only an “Admin” account has it. A “Manager” can remind and mark rows but not sell, and the “Front desk” preset can read this page while acting on nothing in it.
- The form opens on the same classes and the same price, for as many months as the old term, starting the day it ends. For one that already lapsed it starts today instead, and the gap between them is never billed.
- Check “Price (₪)” before you save. It carries the old price forward — except on a free place: a term priced at zero comes back as the default price, not as zero, and the payment plan below is built from that figure.
- Read “Payment plan”: one payment per term month by default, the first due on the start date. “Auto-charge this plan to the card on file” stays off unless you tick it, and it needs a saved card and consent already on file.
- Press “Create”. The new term is live from that moment.
- Then “Collect now” or “Later” — the term is saved either way.
