Set up a class and its roster
Create a weekly class, put the same class on several days without typing it twice, and the one thing about the class WhatsApp group that surprises every school.
Written for school owners and admins
A class is one recurring slot: a day, a time, a coach and a room. Everything a family buys points at classes, so the schedule is worth getting right before you sell anything against it.
Creating one
- Open “Classes & Rosters” and press “New class”.
- Under “Basics”, give it a “Title” a parent would recognise on their child's schedule, and set the age or level if you use them.
- Under “Schedule”, pick the day and start time, and set how many children fit.
- Under “Reminders”, decide whether this class sends its own reminders before each session.
- Save.
The same class on several days
Who is on it
A child joins a roster by having a subscription that covers this class, not by being added to a list. That is why changing what a family pays for also changes who is on which register, and why removing someone from a roster by hand is usually the wrong tool — change their subscription instead.
