Your school's plan
What the tier you pay for caps, what it switches on, what happens the moment a cap is reached, and what everyone sees if the bill goes unpaid.
Written for school owners and admins
This is the school's own subscription to the platform, not what families pay you. It lives under “Plan & billing”, admin-only like every settings page, and its two halves default in opposite directions: usage caps, where anything the plan leaves unset is unlimited, and capabilities, where anything the plan does not name is off.
What the plan caps
“Usage this period” meters four things: “Classes”, “Coaches”, “Admins”, “Messages/mo”. A cap the plan left unset shows an infinity sign rather than a number. Three of the four block: at the cap, the next class, coach or office account is refused at save. Messages never block. The meter fills and the warning appears, but every message still goes out.
What the plan switches on
Capabilities work the other way: a plan grants only what it names outright. Two are enforced today, both marked “Premium” in the catalog: your own web address, and your own WhatsApp Business number. They are checked when you change them, never while they run: a school on a cheaper plan keeps its domain serving and its number sending, and keeps seeing both. Removing the domain is gated too, so on a lower plan you cannot hand one back; disconnecting a WhatsApp number always works.
If the bill goes unpaid
A declined renewal is not a crisis: access stays full while the card is retried three times, two then three days apart. With no card saved, or once those retries run out, the school turns read-only for seven days: every screen opens, every save is refused. Then it pauses, and the pause is not a staff-side matter. “Your school account is paused” replaces the entire app for everyone who signs in, families included. No data is removed at any stage.
